World Best Driving GPS System |
Carpa Digital Driving RecorderThe CARPA Digital Drive Recorder (DDR) is a compact device installed on the inside of a car windshield to record dual video (forward facing and vehicle interior), audio, GPS and G-force data related to vehicle abuse, impacts or accidents. The CARPA gets to work as soon as the vehicle ignition is turned on and begins recording video, audio, GPS and G-force data continuously throughout the drive.
When the CARPA DDR detects an ‘incident” such as would occur under heavy braking or acceleration, sharp turns or bumps, the data collected 30 seconds prior to and 30 seconds after the incident will be flagged and saved. All the recorded information is time and date stamped and conveniently stored on a SD card enabling precise tracking and re-tracing of the vehicles activities. When the Carpa DDR is used in conjunction with our ECO-Drive software three months of vehicle video and history can be stored while GPS and accelerometer data can be analysed and used to generate a detailed drive report based on the captured data. The drive report contains information about the use of the vehicle and the activities of the driver over a specified period of time. This data can be published in the form of an excel spread sheet and kept for your records. |

ECO-DRIVE
The Eco-Drive software pack analyses the GPS and accelerometer data captured by the Carpa units to reveal critical information regarding vehicle activities. The software generates an accurate "driving diary", indicating location, mileage, driving time, and parked time. Incidents of concern (such as harsh breaking or speeding) will be highlighted for review. In addition to this, Eco-Drive determines how economically the vehicle is being driven and grades the driver accordingly. Drivers can then be encouraged and trained to drive economically and their improvements can be tracked.
